Meet the “Gaffer”
Brandon Hendrix is a skilled lighting director who currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky. He’s worked as part of the lighting team on independent film productions throughout the Midwest and developed an approach to lighting that focuses on fast and consistent lighting setups. Before this, he worked as a corporate videographer for over 5 years and learned how to work within the constraints of tight budgets and timelines. He attended Asbury University and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communication with an emphasis in Film Production. His recent projects include Shield of the North, Hidden Motives, and Good Luck to Me.
Equipment and Know-How
We specialize in fast and consistent lighting setups. Our kit consists entirely of RGB LED light fixtures, so we can save you time on set and add a pop of color when needed. This rate includes a Lighting Director (or “Gaffer”) and lighting equipment curated for fast setups. Starting at $500/day.
Shaping outdoor light is one of the most challenging parts of lighting for film and commercial projects. Our grips prioritize on-set safety, while providing fast diffusion and bounce coverage for your actors, even in broad sunlight. This rate includes a Lighting Director (or “Gaffer”) and the addition of a skilled team member (“Key Grip”) to help make setups even faster. Starting at $800/day
If your shoot is off-the-grid or requires more power than what typical circuitry can provide, ask us about renting a generator. Generators are vital for night time lighting in remote locations and allow you to shoot virtually anywhere. Depending on the needs of your production, we can select a generator that best accommodates your needs. Adding a generator rental starts at $300/week
